Oh god. It THE time of the year.

Its the zara annual sales period. Its only during this time that you will see zara filled with people scurrying about the usually unpopulated marble tilings of zara boutiques in town. Thank god i headed there early... the sizes were clearly diminishing. Couldn't get everything i wanted... but i guess it was ok....hahahahaa...i got soooo many things... hehehee... it was quite a sight to see ppl getting piles of clothing and slam it upon the cashier counter, following up with a whip of the plastic.

 

I got

 

2 t-shirts from zara

 

1 rolled sleeve from zara

 

1 casual pants from zara

 

1 black jeans from top shop

 

Total damage : $180+++

 

Oh god... my plastic is totally overheated. Damn.

 

Need to save up again...

 

Actually im thinking of chionging again. =P

 

And my sis thinks that my taste in clothing is becoming more alternative... bleah...

 

I guess not I can't be some polo+berms preppy alpha male like the majority of the ppl she see in her school.

 

After all, im not some mainstream biz/acct student... hahaha. Archi was always a departure from the norm.

Woah... its some good stuff there eh.. i felt abit entranced as i read her speech in ST today... it was one of those speeches that made one think and not those run-off-the-mill crappy speeches laced with boredom. She touched upon the topics of failure, and social responsibility.. embellished upon the nuances of life. Rather brilliant piece.

 

Perhaps a few excerpts here...

Hahaha, Singaporeans ....... i supose... treat life like that bloody checklist.. i do not deny that i do it sometimes as well.. especially as a form of assurance to myself. As far as im concerned... i think most singaporeans...especially those on the higher echelons of the academic ladder, are guilty of this....

After reading her article, i feel... once again... so much more reassured for my uni course choice. For life is not a measly checklist of achievements.

This week has been laden with parade. And i have a crappy tanline... all thanks to my beret. Urgh... it looks utterly hideous. and im rather blackened now... abiet like a charred teapot base. Anyway, the parades has been draining me sanity and phyiscal strength... i totally almost passed out today... was wobbling about and pivoting about my 2 flimsy feet... urgh not a good feeling. Felt like puking.. the rancid odour from the various unwashed "smartest" 4s really aggravated the situation i guess. Never felt sooooooo damn queasy in recent months. But im glad i lasted through it. Thanks to ppl that showed concern.

 

Oh apparently kiat got into signals... hahaha we have a signal officer in class! and a signal spec, and a signaller! Weee i think my class can open some signal company liao... Anyway, welcome to the signal formation kiat. Hahahaha... speed through skills man!

Ahhhh just got the coldplay album.!!!!!! as usual... you need to listen to some songs a few times before you start appreciating it... the first few listenings often leave ppl go wtf is this... lol...

This week in camp has been rather serene. Not much to do other than the usual stuff and some parade practices... next week is going to be the real deal ..... hopefully i pass all those dastardly uniform and bearing inspections....

 

Speaking about the army... the recent deaths of NSF has apparently sparked outrage among the public. Hmmm. Im not surprised la. Its not everyday you get to witness someone dying randomly. Especially so after walking for merely 2km. And i saw an article in the sunday times... commenting that guys these days are toooo soft... lol and the critique was from a female.... She better be a regular or she really has no base to critique... hehehe... not being part of the system really doesn't give her a clear perspective of how things are run (and what shit happens within the constantina wire fence).... who is she to comment. Urgh. Bitches. Someone should dump her in tekong jungle and see what happens. She needs to understand not all guys are tough and ruff like some rambo.

 

Blah, enuff about that insidious biatch.

 

Oh, and i cannot believe that ST took the pictures of the deceased from friendster... COME ON, so much for the professional media. ZZzzz

 

Haven't been doing much this weekend. Thought of going to the PC show... but the sheer thought of a large human sardine can that smells of a mixture of perfume,cologne, cheap deoderant and bad BO is a really undesirable deterrence. Im better off reading my books at home... borrowed quite a large deal of it... all on archi of course... getting a clearer picture of the career's requirements and prospect... apparently... i have to be well versed in....

DAMN there was a book JUST on it.... and it looked soooooooooooooooooooooooooo scary.... haiz it had like... 6 vanishing points?

 

Oh god.... lol i better learn how to draw with sooo many vanishing points.....

 

Had supper with sihao and ken! long time no see! And chomp chomp is still as quaint and delectable as ever... =D

Meh, i have been staying in for the last week... kinda got use to the feeling... the week was rather laxing. Camp has never been sooo relaxing before. The camp seems to be awkwardly quiet as well. No trainees around. Lets hope next week will be as relaxing... but i really doubt so... parade is starting soon... damn. bleah.

 

Enuff about army.. that dastard place is draining my sanity. Its really getting very boring.

 

Been thinking about life.... its getting dastardly boring. I need to find something nice to do... like...shopping? Hahahahaha... the sales aren't very attractive now leh... wth. GSS still like that. Watched sex and the city yesterday. I was great..i was a little disappointed with the development of samantha though. If only weddings can be that perfect.. hahahaha i better start saving and planning my wedding. Ok thats abit far fetched.

Woah long time since i got back here.

Had a long week of leave now... cuz they forced us to clear leave.... thats like totally WTH. but oh well its the SAF.

Had a few chillouts when friends over the week. With erik and An on weds. Hahaha kinda thrilled with the future.... Love them as always.

Just went out with neng, sooooooooooooooooo loooooooong since i went out with him can? Hahahahhaa. Totally glad to see him after like.... after As? I see that he is thriving in army at least... at least coping better than me. But he is taking accountancy in NTU... i guess we are finally taking a different route now... haha 6 years in the same school. Kinda missed the time we could chill out at j8 after school... =/

Oh, anyway, we watched Narnia: Prince Caspian. It was ok i guess... like.....a cup of hot chocolate. All time favourite and friendly for all. I really hoped that the white witch was ressurected though. Damn those goody-two-shoes endings.

 

Anyone keen on watching Sex and the City with me? Cuz apparently alot of ppl (esp guys) are creeped out at the thought of watching it. (Neng totally flipped when i suggested it LOL ) I didn't know a show about 4 women would creep out so many guys... hahaha.

 

Meanwhile, i played a while games of dota. On the request of jia an. Hahaha.. kinda lost my touch i guess. Gone are the days i could confidently kill little heroes indiscriminately. But i won't bother to practise la. Hahaha better things to do... like making a collage!!!

 

OUT OF FOOD WRAPPERS! lol... i just ripped apart my uncle toby's box. Hmmm can't wait to do it to blueberry morning Hahahaha.
