I just came back from vivo!! thats after watching this local movie... there was a premiere at Vivo~ Hahaha... the movie was... apt and rather touching at some parts...Good try on CGI though...  =/

 

Sorta highlighted the nasty side of not having enuff money in singapore... and also problems of old folks.... quite sad leh... I really hope i dun get dumped in an old folks home when im old and sickly... (thats why we must try to be as healthy as possible now!!!) Some interesting facts brought up by the movie, no doubt close to our hearts... and morally upright. Oh and mark lee's wife is soooooooooooo dedicated in the movie la... haiz... if only i can find someone like that. Oh well thats up to our dear fate.

 

Quite a number of the audience wept. The topics can be rather raw i guess...

Ate marche... rather crowded today though... so much for weekday outings... grrrrr.... had to sit in rather close proximity to the next table... thats singapore for u. LOL.... i wonder if the island will sink when the population hits 6 mil. Whoever that suggested the 6 mil thingie really needs to understand the concept of private space...sitting 10 cm away from the next table in a restuarant is... crappy? =/ Props on the food though.

and budget kinda tight lately.. tons of stuff i have to pay myself .... thank god im earning loads in brunei... AND PAGE ONE HAS TONS OF ARCHI BOOKS.. =D .... IM SOOOOOOO HAPPY.... hahahahahahahahaaha finally found a place with it... the NUS co op selection is dismal. =P

Had a nice gathering with my welco peeps yesterday... i guess that we are like the only committee that is largely intact and cohesive.. and yes, even LIONel came. LOL... had a great time consuming expensive crystal jade stuff that left my wallet jaded. Crapped alot in the resturant. I guess we were damn loud.. considering that tons of ppl were staring at us. =P

 

Then we headed to Ah Chew for dessert. Had Aloe Vera and Honey. Delightfull and soothing. =D I like the decor there... very oriental and befitting of its shop's theme. Mmmmm now i crave for more aloe. Meh... Erik had 2 bowls of dessert. LOL What goes through your lips ends at your hips!!!!<=== totally true but erik was in denial. Hahahahaha.

We then went on to the night festival thingie. Whoa.... it was rather large scale with TONS of people. I loved the image projections onto the museums... it looked ravishing. The exhibits were nice... but some were downright weird... like the audio installation.... Ooo i love the large aircon vents at the museum!!! Hahahaha the blast of cold air totally freshens you up. Camwhored a hell lot though, i loved the graffiti at the SMU green..

 

Then we headed to pick up josh and winded up in Spinelli to have an impromptu birthday celebration for him. The cake was small... i hoped he liked it... cuz i paid for it. =X LOL Oooo and the chocomint spin from spinelli is kewl. Kinda tastes like blended peppermint ice cream.

 

Headed home only at 12 am... =/

And coming to think of it... we are all heading towards different paths... different professions.....and i hope we all become successful no doubt. =D

Ha, finally a decent weekend outing.

 

Had lovely dinner with ravi. Talked alot. Din tai fung is really nice.. although it got abit hectic. Hahaha... the ang moh couple beside us was wondering why izzit soo noisy in a restuarant. Must be an asian thing =P. But dinner was delightful. The total bill was 40 bucks though. 20 each. But it was sumptious and pleasant. Talked alot about his impending uni life... Ahhhh sounds soooooooo fun.... =( But he was also telling me about all the medicine ppl and stuff. Apparently they are taking lesser and lesser nerdy ppl... a WELL ROUNDED individual.

I really hope that my faculty has nicer ppl and stuff... hopefully ppl there are ... i dunno... more keen on doing their work well and stuff rather than just socializing, drinking and stuff. Apparently quite a number of the ppl drink... and ravi says that they develop double chins.. LOL hahahaha. all that alcohol must be bad for the waistline.

I realised dota is getting quite sian with like ppl using all the same heroes again and again... i wonder why did they even bother to make 4 taverns of heroes when only like 2 taverns of heroes are used though... And there have been vast improvements in the game. LOL... now you can even adjust the weather and stuff... pretty advanced programming for a sheer warcraft 3 map. =P

I finally got my black tote from esprit. Hahahahha.... it was on 30% off... i just had to get it. Esprit use to be a "cheaper" brand.... now its like climbing up the social ladder... with sleeker designs and steeper price tags... Glad that it didn't let itself slip into the neighbourhoody budget clothes store like bossini and baleno etc...

 

Thats one scar on my wallet. =(

 

Oh and i got a top from pull n bear. Hehehe... they have nice graphic tees... but i got a shirt in the end... i guess graphic tees... still not ez to pull off yeah...

Im currently on a very weird shift system for my NS... hahaha being home on alternate days is nice... but the thought of no lengthened rest is rather daunting. Eeeekz. I have upcoming outings with my council mates that i look forward too... or at least i think...i dun even know whos really going there yet. Hmmm i hope the food is good.

 

Life is rather stagnant for now. Hmmm i miss stagmont camp... sungei gedong is urgh... super far in.

 

Oooo i made an amazing discovery today...

 

The trees along Lim Chu Kang leading to Sungei Gedong camp.... are durian trees!!!! Hahahaha... saw sooo many random uncles picking up durians from the forest floor... Being curious beings.... i also went in with my mates....(Robert, Lionel and Veera) Hahaha.. the forest floor is utter strewn with rotten durians...!!! It was quite obvious that the uncles already cleared whatever good durians that were left there. =( Damn! I wanted to get some home... i even prepared ziploc bags.

 

Oh well .... perhaps next time i would have better luck with those little thorning balls of fruit goodness...

 

Oh and i totally hate durians... im just picking it for my friends and loved ones... hahaha.

 

And besides.. its FUN! =D
