To outsiders, INTJs may appear to project an aura of "definiteness", of self-confidence. INTJs are perfectionists, with a seemingly endless capacity for improving upon anything that takes their interest. What prevents them from becoming chronically bogged down in this pursuit of perfection is the pragmatism so characteristic of the type: INTJs apply (often ruthlessly) the criterion "Does it work?" to everything from their own research efforts to the prevailing social norms. This in turn produces an unusual independence of mind, freeing the INTJ from the constraints of authority, convention, or sentiment for its own sake.

INTJs are known as the "Systems Builders" of the types, perhaps in part because they possess the unusual trait combination of imagination and reliability. Whatever system an INTJ happens to be working on is for them the equivalent of a moral cause to an INFJ; both perfectionism and disregard for authority may come into play, as INTJs can be unsparing of both themselves and the others on the project. Anyone considered to be "slacking," including superiors, will lose their respect -- and will generally be made aware of this; INTJs have also been known to take it upon themselves to implement critical decisions without consulting their supervisors or co-workers. On the other hand, they do tend to be scrupulous and even-handed about recognizing the individual contributions that have gone into a project, and have a gift for seizing opportunities which others might not even notice.

In the broadest terms, what INTJs "do" tends to be what they "know". Typical INTJ career choices are in the sciences and engineering, but they can be found wherever a combination of intellect and incisiveness are required (e.g., law, some areas of academia). INTJs can rise to management positions when they are willing to invest time in marketing their abilities as well as enhancing them, and (whether for the sake of ambition or the desire for privacy) many also find it useful to learn to simulate some degree of surface conformism in order to mask their inherent unconventionality.

Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel. While they are capable of caring deeply for others (usually a select few), and are willing to spend a great deal of time and effort on a relationship, the knowledge and self-confidence that make them so successful in other areas can suddenly abandon or mislead them in interpersonal situations.

This happens in part because many INTJs do not readily grasp the social rituals; for instance, they tend to have little patience and less understanding of such things as small talk and flirtation (which most types consider half the fun of a relationship). To complicate matters, INTJs are usually extremely private people, and can often be naturally impassive as well, which makes them easy to misread and misunderstand. Perhaps the most fundamental problem, however, is that INTJs really want people to make sense. :-) This sometimes results in a peculiar naivete', paralleling that of many Fs -- only instead of expecting inexhaustible affection and empathy from a romantic relationship, the INTJ will expect inexhaustible reasonability and directness.

Probably the strongest INTJ assets in the interpersonal area are their intuitive abilities and their willingness to "work at" a relationship. Although as Ts they do not always have the kind of natural empathy that many Fs do, the Intuitive function can often act as a good substitute by synthesizing the probable meanings behind such things as tone of voice, turn of phrase, and facial expression. This ability can then be honed and directed by consistent, repeated efforts to understand and support those they care about, and those relationships which ultimately do become established with an INTJ tend to be characterized by their robustness, stability, and good communications.

Haha, i was sooo darn happy then... so long since i was so happy. Haha finally a hint of pure happiness that was ignited by sheer innocent friendships.....

 

 

 

 

 

Yay! The first council event is over!!! Finally man, i think i will cringe if i know i have to strip more ribbons and do more sai kang backstage. Tiring but fun... thats how i would describe it. Oh man, june tan missed out our prezzie for her.... bah dumb scary dinner at some hotel by the alumni.... make all the teachers go back sooo early. How to extend my gratitude like that? Oh well.... haha

 

Ok today i started my day on the usual time. This is immediately followed by backstage duty. Ok.... but i didn't know backstage consisted of moving abhorrent large red crapets. Nevermind, so we moved the carpets. Then we come out with like 101 ways to fold the carpet so that it looks nice. OMG lar... LOL so we spent like 45 mins on ONE holy carpet. Man, i really dunno why we took sooo long lar. Kinda dumb. O well... after that we had more or less done everything for the first half le. After that, it was performances away all the way.... LOL i think the only highlight was the teacher's skit lar.... Look at both Kelvin Tans... Its like urmm.... haha paedophilic? or just plain crappy. Serioiusly, i think they were out of there minds when they performed. The galz were all having the hots for that new PE teacher. Bah, i think he has a big nose though. After that was the typical formalities with all the awards and cake-cutting bah bah bah....

 

Now it turns interesting, we went back to keep the carpets. Thank god this time we took a much shorter time. After that, we had suposedly nothing to do!!! OMG lar, im always in sai-kang comm, for once backstage finish first. WOOtz, but then Mr loy came and ask us to go cosultation area to take off the decor and serve cakes -.- Serving cakes was like, hmmmmmm fun and weird. Its kinda weird walking into the staff room asking people whether they wanted cake. I can tell you that most teachers dun really want to eat it. Most are concerned about getting the evils of obesity upon consuming one blardy cake... Meh, some are even better, take the cake meant for them and give to the students that are visiting them. Bah, i dun really care lar. Its their cake anyway, and besides, it helped me to get rid of all the excess cake we had... Haha, sadly councillors dun get it :( However, there were some bits and pieces left, and we just gobbled it up =D Haha, what a nice reward for the cake serving service. After that, i went back to welfare room, to see all my beloved welco peeps busy writing the note to ms tan. Oh well, it was also then that we found out that she already left for some weird luncheon thingie that the alumni organized. haha...... so we had debrief, phototaking and tada!!! ONe event GONE! Yups. =D 6 more to go....

 

Ohhhh, but after that i went to meet up with my sec four class mates... Haha, very happy to see them lar. As crappy as usual. Got 17 of us lor. Haha, so rare to get so many people together, especially when it is like 9 months since we went our separate ways. Heh, it still feels the same though....  So we ate macs at the bishan interchange.... chatted about everything.... haaass..... i just realised that our council is so much more hectic then the other school's council -.- Oh well... thats life =D. So after that, we lagged alot, cuz we dunno what to do. Then i saw the 05s70 people at J8 and only xingyan said hi to me. =( alice and xy daoed me. (now i know what you mean ryan) Bah, doesn't pays to get others. oh well, so we all concluded and went to watch....................................................SNAKES ON A PLANE, at PS. OMG lar, i seriously think it sucks lar. LOL imagine a snake biting your boobie and dick Gawd, how can they have such a crass script. Nevertheless, it was comical in that sense, as i was like laughing away despite it being some horror movie. LOL (how can you not laugh at a snake hinged on the penis swaying about) LOL damn lame show. For people who haven't watched it yet, plz don't unless you want some sadistic crude humour.  Oh saw qinnypei at PS, and asked her about the snakes on the plane. She said it was not bad. Gawd. Ok qinny,i think you like such genre of humour =X. oh well, afther that we just went home lo..... kinda late already. bah that how i concluded my day =D
